At the same time, the company was faced with a shift in business model that prompted major changes to its site. The new www.brighthub.com uses almost all of the forward-facing Community Server functionality, including blogs, forums, media gallery, member management, profiles, tags, etc. Of particular use to Bright Hub was the groups functionality, which allowed the team to create mini-communities focused around a particular topic.

Bright Hub redesigned and launched its new site from scratch in about 8 weeks, (including porting all data from the old site). By using the Community Server platform, the team at Bright Hub cut build time by 325%!

Prior to launching its new site, Bright Hub averaged about 750 visitors a day. Today, the site has grown to almost 1 million visitors per month, 2 million page views per month, and continues to grow at a rate of 25% per month!

Telligent provided the Community Server Enterprise license, and the team at Bright Hub performed the implementation and customization with help from the Community Server forums.
