In her recent review of Harvest Reporting Server, Ms. Barb Mosher of CMSWire, talks about the validity of the term, social ROI and the fact that “community analytics are a must-have.”
She writes, “It’s unlikely that you will come across a community solution that doesn’t have some degree of analytics built in. Awareness has them, cubeless has them, even Jive’s new Social Business Software has them. And they provide some of the same information.
But Telligent has been working hard to develop Harvest Reporting Server, and we haven’t seen as in-depth a set of reports or customization and extensibility that Harvest has. It appears to be quite an extensible package to work with.”
Barb also mentions Dr. Marc Smith, our Chief Social Scientist dedicated to defining and refining the evolution of Harvest. (BTW, Marc’s newest paper was accepted for the International Conference on Web Logs and Social Media, a conference that discusses how social network analysis can predict the topics of threads, differentiating between Q&A and discussion.)
You can watch Marc in action at this year’s Web 2.0 conference:

On behalf of Telligent, we appreciate Barb’s recent review and invite you to read her entire post titled, “Social Web Analytics with Telligent’s Harvest Reporting Server.”
