Single Sign-on Modules

This section contains instructions for installing the three single sign-on extensions:

• Cookie Authentication Extension – the Cookie Authentication extension is useful for scenarios where you need to integrate Community Server with applications written in something other than ASP.NET (PHP, Cold Fusion, etc.).
• Forms Authentication Extension – the Forms Authentication extension is useful for scenarios where you need to integrate Community Server with another ASP.NET application.
• Windows/Active Directory Extension – the Windows extension is useful for scenarios where you need to integrate Community Server in an environment that makes use of Windows/Active Directory authentication.
