The Port 25 Web site highlights Telligent’s ability to serve as a one-stop shop for clients desiring an enterprise social media network.
Community Server in Action
Port 25 is home to the open source community at Microsoft but has proven recently to attract an even broader audience that includes people with technical, business and legal perspectives.
Microsoft was looking for one vendor to manage the consulting, implementation, and creative design for its open source community. Because the old site had most of its traffic going to a single post (and all the content was fighting for attention), Microsoft wanted an attractive, more organized site driven by easy-to-find content.
The new Port 25 site was given a design face lift and now offers navigation that is tag-based, which means that you no longer have to think of where the content needs to appear; it just does because of the content type. Telligent conducted a usability review and then custom designed and implemented the new site within 4 weeks! The new site includes interactive Web logs, multimedia video, podcasts, downloads, site search, ajax controls, and much more.
Telligent performed the implementation and integration, and our Creative Services team took advantage of our proprietary knowledge of the Community Server platform and pushed the limits with the site design.
