Lucky Magazine turned to Community Server to provide a collaborative solution that would allow its target group of "Mavens" to share its interests and insights regarding the fashion industry.
Condé Nast partnered with Telligent to create a vibrant online community that is focused on providing opinion leaders, basically women who are in tune with the fashion world, dubbed "mavens" (As referenced in the Malcolm Gladwell book The Tipping Point) by Lucky Magazine with a collaborative platform that allows them to share their thoughts and insights on the latest fashion topics. The Mavens provide relevant and fresh content and Community Server allows for a "sticky" experience and ensures that information is easily discoverable.
Community Server is the basis for this community and provides the means for collaboration through customization of the forums, user generated blogs and photo galleries, and allows for additional discoverability of the content through tag clouds.
Telligent performed the implementation & Telligent’s in-house creative agency, Sound Creative, was responsible for the creative look and feel.
